Did you know I was in full rebellion?  Well, I am!  I am beautiful and I can't help it, God made me this way.  I am in rebellion, yes I am.  I am not going to let Hollywood and its iniquity dictate to me what's beautiful.  How do they know anyway?  Who made them the experts?  I mean think about how they tear up their lives and their children’s' lives with their immorality and I am supposed to follow them???!!!  I think not!  Beauty is not being 5' 10" and a size 2!  Beauty is me, serving the Lord in holiness, righteousness, and humility.  Beauty is me being obedient and following the leading of the Spirit.  Beauty is me bent over low with a burden for others’ aches and pains.  Beauty is me stepping out of my comfort zone and reaching out to hurting people.  Beauty is not in made up faces and scantily clothed bodies.  I am rebelling against this society that says I am not pretty unless I am half naked.  I am rebelling against this society that says I have to sleep around to get a man.  I am rebelling against false idols portrayed by the movie and television industry and sports arenas.  I am rebelling against a world that says I have to stay "hip" and with it, stay current and up to date and in fashion.  The only reason those things are on a pedestal in this country is because we put them there.

We buy into their philosophy and pay their rent.  It is time for Christian women to stand up and say NO MORE!  The Bible says what concourse has light with darkness?  In other words, what do we have to do with them? Nothing, I tell you, nothing at all.  I am closing my ears and eyes to that.   What is unattractive is colonics, artificial this and that, plastic surgery, caked faces, and chopped up hair...and chopped up lives!  But we can just be ourselves, just as we are, and that is beautiful.   We are lovely, we are beautiful, and we are gorgeous.

When we go through trials and pain, we think we are not lovely.  That is a lie.  Our pain does not make us ugly.  Pain can make us strong and it can bring out our character but it does not make us ugly. Jesus makes us lovely.  Also, there is power in a holy, separated life.  A life separated from the world and separated to Jesus.    Without a doubt, it pleases Jesus and allows Him the liberty to move in my life.  When I lose myself in Jesus, then He can do with me what He has planned.
